Condition

Strep bacteria: Acne and cystic acne is caused by strep bacteria that sits chronically in the lymphatic system and surfaces to the derma. Multiple strains exist (Group A through Z with offshoots)
Compromised immune system: When immune system is weakened by stress, poor diet, or zinc deficiency, lymphocytes cannot keep strep under control and it reaches the skin surface
