Atrial fibrillation (AFib)
ConditionAccording to Medical Medium, atrial fibrillation and heart arrhythmias are not primarily electrical or structural heart problems — they are caused by viral byproduct from the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and other herpesviruses accumulating in the liver and then escaping into the bloodstream. This sticky, jelly-like viral residue travels from the liver through the hepatic veins to the heart, where it gets caught in heart valves (especially the mitral, aortic, and tricuspid valves), causing them to stick slightly and produce irregular heartbeats, ectopic beats, flutter, tachycardia, and AFib. In some cases, the virus itself enters heart chambers or valves directly.
- Stagnant fatty liver: A liver congested with fat from high-fat diets prevents the liver from adequately containing and breaking down EBV byproduct; fat buildup accelerates the leakage of viral jelly into the bloodstream and toward the heart
- Shingles virus: Certain strains of the shingles virus (varicella-zoster) can enter the heart and cause atrial fibrillation and pericarditis
- EBV sticky jelly in heart valves: Epstein-Barr virus living in the liver releases byproduct (viral waste matter and viral corpses) that accumulates as a jelly-like substance; when the liver becomes overly burdened, this jelly escapes into the blood, is drawn up through hepatic veins to the heart, and gets caught in the mitral, aortic, or tricuspid valve — causing the valve to stick, which produces irregular heartbeats and AFib
- HHV-6 in heart tissue: Human herpesvirus 6 (HHV-6) can enter heart valves or chambers directly and cause AFib; this is distinct from the sticky jelly mechanism and represents a direct viral infection of heart tissue
- Toxic heavy metals triggering vagus nerve: Toxic heavy metals in the brain can trigger the vagus nerve to produce heart spasms that resemble palpitations or arrhythmia; these often do not register on heart monitors because they are nerve-based, not cardiac
