Costochondritis

Condition
  • Sluggish or congested liver pressing on rib cage nerves: A congested, sluggish, or enlarged liver can press outward against the right side of the rib cage, irritating the nerves around the liver and colon. This produces chronic, mysterious pain in the abdomen or rib cage area. The liver's position directly beneath the lower ribs means that when it becomes enlarged or swollen from toxin accumulation, viral byproducts, or fat storage, it puts pressure on the surrounding nerves, creating rib cage pain and pressure. This is a distinct cause of rib pain from the viral nerve inflammation causes. Source: Medical Medium Liver Rescue (2018).
  • Viral neurotoxins creating chronic nerve sensitivity: EBV and shingles viruses release neurotoxins as metabolic byproducts. These neurotoxins are highly allergenic to nerve tissue. When neurotoxins reach the intercostal nerves or the nerves of the chest wall, they create chronic nerve sensitivity and inflammation that manifests as persistent rib and chest pain. The neurotoxin load amplifies the pain experience beyond what simple mechanical inflammation would produce. Source: Medical Medium series.
  • Epstein-Barr virus attacking cartilage and connective tissue: In its late stage, EBV specifically attacks joints, cartilage, and/or connective tissue throughout the body, inflaming the nerves in those areas. When this viral attack targets the costal cartilage — the cartilage connecting the ribs to the sternum — it produces the chest wall pain, tenderness, and swelling that receives the diagnosis of costochondritis. The viral attack is not on the cartilage itself (as conventional medicine assumes) but on the nerves surrounding and within that tissue. This is the same mechanism by which EBV produces rheumatoid arthritis and other joint/connective tissue conditions. • Heavy metals amplifying viral activity: Mercury, aluminum, copper, and other toxic heavy metals feed and fuel the viral pathogens (EBV and shingles) responsible for rib/chest pain. Heavy metals act as a power source for viruses, making them more aggressive and their neurotoxin production more prolific. Removing heavy metals from the body through the Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie is an important part of addressing the viral root cause of costochondritis-type symptoms. Source: Medical Medium series.
  • Shingles virus inflaming intercostal nerves: Shingles virus (of which there are over 30 varieties, most undiscovered) can inflame the intercostal nerves — the nerves running between and around the rib cage. This produces burning, stabbing, and aching rib and chest wall pain identical to what is diagnosed as costochondritis. The shingles virus can be entirely internal without any visible rash (non-rashing shingles), so the viral cause goes completely undetected. Classic shingles rashes, when they do appear, frequently manifest on the lower back, upper back, rib cage, and shoulder. Intercostal nerve inflammation from shingles is responsible for a large proportion of unresolved, unexplained rib and chest wall pain.
