Long-haul Flu

Condition
  • Reactivated underlying virus: Long-haul flu occurs when someone contracts influenza, gets ill, and then doesn't recover easily. The flu pushes an already-weakened immune system to its limits, triggering an underlying virus like EBV to reactivate.
  • Reactivated Epstein-Barr Virus: Long-haul flu occurs when you get the flu and Epstein-Barr virus gets reactivated. It's a low-grade virus that crops up when you get the flu.
  • Neurotoxins from Pathogens: Neurotoxins are released from pathogens/viruses which cause extra pain, trembling hands, tingles and numbness, aches and pains, dizziness. The vagus nerves get wrangled up.
