Derms of Alter Ego
Demon- Type of derm: Energy Force Derm — self-generated. Unlike other demons, these are created by the living person's own dark thoughts and intentions. Not an external force initially — they grow from within.
- How they came to be: Grown from a person's own negative energy while that person is still living. Start as small balls of negative energy from dark thoughts — hatred, jealousy, vengefulness. With sustained ill intentions, they grow larger and more powerful, eventually able to separate from the person's soul/body.
- What they do: Form as small balls of negative energy from dark thoughts. Grow as the person becomes more hateful, jealous, or vengeful. Can separate from the person's soul and body once powerful enough. Strengthen existing demons that are already influencing the person. Become increasingly powerful with sustained ill intentions. Can eventually allow full-fledged demons to devour or enter the person.
- How to fight them: Stop to Think (#3): Pause to reflect on your thoughts and catch dark patterns. Meditate to Restore the Soul (#6): Heal the fractures that spawn alter ego energy. Set Boundaries & Question Things (#12): Question impulses and dark thoughts. Awareness of your own thought patterns is the primary defense — catching darkness early before it grows.
