show 6:08 you guys a couple tips right there 6:10 almost lost the book but that's why 6:11 we're live 6:13 so here's a tip right here about 6:14 mushrooms that you guys need to know i'd 6:16 love to give you this tip okay 6:18 so a couple of things about mushrooms 6:20 that are really important okay the 6:22 bottom of the stem if you see any green 6:25 at the bottom of the stem 6:27 you don't want that whole that whole box 6:29 of mushrooms needs to be tossed out 6:31 that's one thing right there here's a 6:33 tip that's really good if the mushroom's 6:36 pitted a little bit if it's pitted at 6:38 all like you're starting to pit 6:40 in different spots you see where it's 6:42 pit pitting a little bit and you're 6:43 getting too much color change 6:46 it's oxidizing you don't want to use 6:48 that mushroom pick another mushroom that 6:50 mushroom's oxidizing that means 6:53 that means the cells in the mushroom are 6:56 dying rapidly and creating a toxin so 7:00 with toxins being created so i'm just 7:02 giving you a little bit more on that the 7:04 pitted the whole pitted thing that's 7:06 that's that's a tip all on its own right 7:07 there that's really important two 7:09 another thing you want to know how fresh 7:11 your mushroom is you just look at the 7:12 bottom of the stem and you see how beat 7:14 up or shot at the very bottom the stem 7:17 is right that's another tip too and some 7:19 of these tips you know i have shown 7:21 people throughout the year some of them 7:22 i haven't shown it's important to know 7:24 right 7:26 so another tip too is people are just 7:28 worried about if the mushroom's wet and 7:30 slimy right what if the mushroom's wet 7:31 so that's something people know about 7:33 that don't have a slimy mushroom don't 7:35 work with the slimy mushroom okay but 7:38 keep in mind though that's not the big 7:40 issue you can wash that slime off the 7:44 big issue is if it's pitting 7:47 that is the key 7:49 it's not the mushroom being slimy on top 7:51 that you can wash off with hot water 7:53 another tip too wash your mushrooms off 7:55 with hot water that's another tip wash 7:58 them off with hot water 8:00 that's a key that's that's an important 8:02 key right there because here's here's 8:04 why 8:05 because if there's any bacteria on the 8:07 mushroom at all 8:09 cold water is not going to cover it it's 8:11 not going to take care of it 8:13 because people chop them up they throw 8:15 them in their salads they throw their 8:16 portabellas in their salads right you 8:18 guys and if you just wash your mushrooms 8:20 off with cool water 8:22 that's not going to be enough you could 8:24 easily get some bacteria that was in the 8:26 manure like some e coli 8:28 or anything that's on the mushroom so 8:31 you want to wash with hot water coming 8:33 out of the sink so you've got the hot 8:35 water coming down in the sink and you're 8:36 washing your mushrooms you wash them in 8:38 hot water that's important doesn't have 8:40 to be scolding hot lorraine elsa's great 8:42 tips doesn't have to be scolding hot 8:45 because you can get some bacteria i'm 8:47 just going to give you guys a whole 8:48 bunch of best chefs in the world don't know 10:45 the tip that's why they don't tell 10:47 anybody so it's important to know this 10:49 stuff right so i just gave you a couple 10:50 mushroom tips one is wash them in hot 10:53 water that's how you can get the food 10:55 poisoning if you don't wash them in hot 10:57 water with mushrooms manure gets trapped 11:00 in there and it doesn't come out so the 11:02 hot water can really shock and kill e 11:04 coli or anything like that that's 11:06 important 11:07 the other thing is the pitted the pits 11:09 in the mushrooms means it's oxidizing 11:12 and mushrooms are more toxic when they 11:14 oxidize than other foods so that's just 11:16 the mushroom tips off the running right 11:18 there okay so we cover that boom you 11:20 guys want to know i just they're really good i eat two of them in 11:34 between or during the whole thing so i 11:36 want to give you some zucchini tips now 11:38 some of the medical medium 11:39 community 11:41 people right some of you guys know i've 11:44 always said this all the time 11:46 why do i have missing pieces in my 11:49 zucchini why's your missing pieces 11:52 okay 11:53 there's missing pieces 11:55 because i cut them out 11:57 the reason why i cut them out 12:00 is because it happens to almost 12:02 everybody out there 12:04 very few people escape this 12:07 there's 12:08 bacteria 12:10 in the spots people's nails have 12:12 scratched the skin on zucchini is really 12:15 thin when you're in the grocery store 12:17 everybody touches zucchini and their 12:18 nails go in there and that's it boom 12:20 their nails go in there and they usually 12:22 even take their nails take divots away 12:24 like that 12:25 you'll see it in the store all the 12:26 zucchinis have these things going in 12:28 them and the basically that's incubated 12:31 bacteria and viruses from people's hands 12:33 in the grocery store they're touching 12:35 the shopping carts their hands are 12:37 loaded with bad bacteria and viruses and 12:39 what do they do 12:40 they go and they grab the zucchinis and 12:42 their nails just go into the zucchinis 12:44 and they're pawing through them and all 12:45 the zucchinis get all eaten up like that 12:48 so what you do is you find those spots 12:51 and you cut them out 12:53 especially if you're going to eat those 12:55 raw 12:56 if you wash them really good to eat them 12:59 raw it's not going to help 13:01 you want to wash them good but it's not 13:02 going to help 13:04 because the fingernail went in through 13:06 the skin and put it underneath so you 13:09 can wash them all you want it's not 13:11 going to help you got to cut those spots 13:13 out that's a tip right there i talked 13:15 about 13:16 right there give you another tip let's 13:18 talk about the onion a little bit let's 13:20 do that 13:21 all right so we have an onion here 13:24 talk onion 13:26 a little bit of the onions 13:27 onion talk going on right 13:30 so 13:30 let's go here 14:03 illness and the chronic illness out 14:05 there 14:06 and and writing the books for all that 14:08 right so let's talk about the zucchini a 14:10 little bit more 14:11 so i have a zucchini in my hand right 14:13 here 14:14 okay 14:15 now 14:16 what you'll notice is the flower 14:19 you have the stem part where the 14:21 zucchini actually breaks off the plant 14:24 okay you guys 14:25 it breaks off the plant now i cut that 14:27 stem part off because it's hard 14:29 it was getting hard and i cut it off now 14:31 if you have a zucchini that's young 14:33 enough tender enough you can cook that 14:35 stem to be nice and juicy and good but 14:37 here's the thing 14:39 it's the butt you want to cut off the 14:41 butt 14:42 because that little piece right there 14:44 gets really hard 14:46 and people with teeth problems even if 14:48 they have strong teeth or think they 14:49 have strong teeth people with teeth 14:51 problems over 14:53 actually bite into that 14:55 and now they lose a filling they lose a 14:57 cap 14:58 they mess up a tooth they crack a tooth 15:01 it's kind of like the olive pit syndrome 15:03 i talk about you you know you you're 15:05 biting in olive and boom there was a pit 15:06 in there and now you're just totally 15:08 you're totally bad off right 15:10 so you want to cut that hard butt off 15:13 because that's where the flower was and 15:15 it hardens sometimes it hardens like a 15:17 stone 15:18 and people always mess up their teeth 15:22 because of that little tiny button on 15:24 the back of the zucchini right there so 15:27 that's a cool tip right there that could 15:29 actually save you a big hassle boom it 15:30 came off 15:32 that's it right there 15:34 okay took that off 15:36 so that's a zucchini tip that um but i 15:39 did a lot more tips like i can't cover 15:41 them all right now but let me let me 15:42 give you some onion 15:43 tip here 15:45 jess and to think that chefs on tv and 15:47 various other sources always say you 15:49 only need to wipe mushrooms with a damp 15:52 cloth i never paid attention i always 15:54 washed mine but i didn't know about 15:56 using hot water thank you script just 15:59 you can watch any cooking show i don't 16:01 care if it's an amateur cooking show a 16:04 totally pro pro cooking show it's on the 16:07 tv the chefs don't know these tips they 16:10 don't know any of them 16:12 and that's what's really cool right it's 16:14 not because i'm a special person it's 16:16 the same way 16:17 the alternative health movement 16:19 conventional health movement doesn't 16:20 know any of this that's killed people 16:22 millions of people worldwide medical 16:24 media book series it comes from above it 16:26 comes from soc it's not because i'm 16:28 special that's why everything 17:41 with that so it's important so let's 17:44 talk about the onion a little bit 17:46 so you got the onion right here okay 17:49 so 17:50 sweetest part of the onion 17:52 which nobody knows 17:54 is closer to the top of the onion where 17:56 the onion was growing meaning where the 17:59 onion was sprouting out that's the 18:02 sweetest spot so when you pull the onion 18:04 out of the ground right when you pull it 18:06 out by the green tops okay 18:10 right and they cut the green tops off 18:12 and then this seals right here that's 18:14 the sweet part of the onion it's closer 18:17 here so the worst part of the onion the 18:19 most bitter part of the onion 18:22 is the bottom where the roots were 18:25 the bottom where the roots were 18:28 that's the 18:30 the more astringent not so sweet not so 18:34 tasty part of the onion is 18:36 keep that in mind you can use the whole 18:38 onion without a doubt you can use the 18:40 whole onion right so here i am 18:43 i'm cutting this part off 18:45 you can use the whole onion nothing 18:47 wrong with that and here's the top of 18:49 the onion right here 18:51 that i'm cutting off 18:53 okay 18:54 so here's the next thing you know i mean 18:55 first of all i was talking about right 18:57 there now the best part of the onion to 18:59 work off of 19:00 the best heat because you you might be 19:02 making food for family friends you might 19:05 making food for people right 19:07 and the best part of the onion to work 19:09 off of in the meals is off the top side 19:13 going all the way down in right that's 19:15 the tastiest part because someone may be 19:17 like yeah okay you made me a salad but 19:19 it wasn't that tasty or it was okay or 19:22 i'm sensitive with onions i like onions 19:24 but i'm a little sensitive with onions 19:26 sometimes and what's really happening 19:27 too is you're they're getting the worst 19:29 part of the onion in their food so 19:31 that's important to know right there i'm 19:32 peeling back the onion a little bit 19:35 so the best part of the onion is that 19:37 top part another little tip too 19:40 anytime you see anything brown in the 19:42 onion 19:44 toss the whole onion 19:46 don't risk it 19:47 because the onions going bad 19:50 going bad 19:51 rotten onion 19:52 is the worst it can destroy a whole meal 19:54 and i talked about that tip all on its 19:56 own but you don't know it's wrong it 19:58 looks good it might but it has a little 19:59 brown spot or it has one ring 20:02 one ring is getting brown in there after 20:04 you cut it one ring 20:06 the other rings look good 20:08 but one ring's getting bad toss the 20:10 onion don't even save it can ruin an 20:12 entire meal or an entire meal for a 20:14 family you're making it for 11 pounds right i tell people if you're 22:05 plant-based or vegan there's there's are 22:07 you medical medium plant-based or vegan 22:10 and i tell people who are animal protein 22:12 are you medical medium animal protein 22:14 right so and because all the details 22:16 matter so that someone who's sick as a 22:18 vegan can get better someone who's sick 22:20 as plant-based could get better 22:21 someone's sick who's 22:22 animal base can get better incredible so 22:24 proud of you lost 11 pounds it's amazing 22:28 so you guys 22:30 do you have to pay to watch amazon live 22:33
