Find out what's making you sick and how to heal. Anthony William is the Medical Medium. Hello, I'm Anthony William. You're listening to the Medical Medium Radio Show, where each week I talk about the most advanced healing information and secrets about health, much of which is not found anywhere else. That's right. And is decades ahead of what's out there now. That's right again. As I've always said, who has 10 or 20, 30 years to wait for answers. Who has that time to wait for answers? This is the only show, the only health show, the only health show. I have to say this to honor spirit. I have to honor spirit that the information doesn't come from interest groups, medical funding with strings attached, botched research lobbyists, internal kickbacks, medical lobbyists, persuaded belief systems, private panels of influencers, health field payoffs or trendy traps. Did you know that's all in alternative and conventional medicine? Conventional medicine, definitely, but alternative to. There's an agenda in the information that's out there on the internet and in books and in lecture halls and in clinics and in yes, everywhere. There's jewels and gems inside of much of it and some is helpful, some is not. But the thumb is on the scale for so many different illnesses and when it comes down to chronic illness. Oh my God. OMG. It's bad out there. The information is skewed. There's theories that become law. And what do we have in the end? Still more sick people and more sick people and more sick people. It's unbelievable. Like I always say, chronic fatigue syndrome has 10 names. They name it a new name every year. A new name every single year. That's the advancement we're doing. We're not getting down to the root problem of what causes chronic fatigue syndrome, but it gets a new name. It's unbelievable. And it's all about what funding is behind it that actually accounts for that new name. Never seen anything like it in history. It's only getting worse. I talk about this because the information here comes from a pure, clean source. I've been given the gift to hear and converse to since age four. And that is spirit. And so I'm here today to provide that information to you so that you can move forward and heal because that's what I want you to do. Move forward and heal. It's so critical. It's critical that you move forward in some way, somehow, and you heal. Go to my Instagram, Medical Medium Instagram. Check out the stories of people healing and their lives changing. Scroll down. Look for the stories. They're everywhere in there. People are healing. And I want you to. I want you to heal, too. I want you to get this information. Thyroid healing, everybody, when they open up the thyroid book and they look in it and they read. And, you know, I talk about things about the thyroid. Nobody does. Seriously, like, and I've said this before, meaning like I was talking about this, the I think another show recently where I were in the book. I talk about how a healthy, healthy thyroid can help somebody's unhealthy thyroid heal. It can help it heal. And I talk about what happens when you when sun actually hits your neck and gets to the thyroid. And then what happens, you know, if you don't get enough sun or or what you can do. There's so many different pieces of information in the thyroid healing book. Hyperthyroidism, Graves, Hashimoto's. I have a whole section in there on sleeping. You know, insomnia, because insomnia is just getting thrown into the thyroid trap. Like, oh, it's insomnia. It's got to be your thyroid. Oh, yeah, that's your thyroid problem. There it is. And so I really clear the air as far as what causes Hashimoto's truly get down to how the inner workings of the thyroid works. What happens if you lose your thyroid, you get it removed surgically. I have a whole section on thyroid cancer about how thyroid cancer really develops and how this information isn't out there. It's so important that you get this in your hand. And so that's just a fraction, honestly, a fraction. And then there's the undiscovered hormones. Science research hasn't discovered two hormones that the thyroid has that's not on the radar yet. The radar of science and research. Really important. And will it ever be on the radar of science and research? Maybe, maybe down the road, if it fits a certain need and a certain private panel of influencers and persuaded belief systems and can internal kickbacks. Maybe they'll work on that one. But no, research and science likes to play around with things that maybe isn't as important to people that are really that sick with chronic illness. Let's focus on chronic illness. Let's get people better. Let's get them to where they need to be. Everybody agrees. Doctors agree. Practitioners agree. We agree. You agree. We all agree. And so, hey, today's gout. We're talking about gout today. We're talking about gout. This is a good one to talk about. No one likes gout. Nobody likes gout. It doesn't feel good. It hurts. It's really annoying in so many ways. I've seen people with it, you know, deal with it for years. I've watched people, you know, work on it, try to heal it, try to do things. And I've been able to give people a tremendous amount of relief thanks to spirit. And one of the most powerful secret weapons to gout, to get rid of gout that I've helped people get rid of and be free from it is what I have in my hand right now, which is celery juice. Now, I know I say drink celery juice in the morning, but I couldn't do it this morning. I didn't have the time and I had a lot going on. But I have a 20 ounce glass right here in my hand. I'm holding it of celery juice, straight celery juice. And I'm going to take a sip right now because it's that delicious. I can't help it. Hang on. Mmm. Anthony William drinking his famous celery juice. All right. All right. Got to make sure I swallow it first before I keep on talking. So the bottom line is, let's go into the gout thing. How does it work with gout? What do we need to do? Well, gout is in as far as with science and research, medical science and research, gout is the buildup of uric acid in the joints. Are they right? Are they wrong? Are they close? Is it true? Is it not true? Well, for this one, they're right on. It is a buildup of uric acid that gets into the joints that can inflame the joints. This is true. OK. Yes. And I'm happy that it's true. But what's it caused from? What's creating it? What's what is it? How does it even happen? That part is not figured out. Science and research hasn't figured that out. And that's what we're talking about today. This is good. This is fun. We're talking about what causes gout so that we can reverse it and we can heal it. We can move on. You know, I hate when people get gout on their feet because I just feel so bad. I feel so bad because they got a limp. People limp into their doctor's offices. It's heartbreaking. Their toes hurt so bad. I mean, you know, right? I mean, have you experienced it? Do you know somebody that experienced it? It's so painstaking. And, you know, they get it in their hand, they get it in their wrist, they get it in strangest places. But the toes are the worst, in my opinion, the worst because you want to walk with some with some, you know, pain free. You want to walk with some ease. And if you got a job, if you got a job where you got to stand up all day. Oh, dear Lord. It's really, really harsh. You know, I know a lot of nurses. I've helped out a lot of nurses over the years. And so many nurses have carried the word of spirits information into the workplace. God bless them. It's one of the greatest gifts that I've ever had to be involved with, meaning the gift of nurses just with the work they do anyway, which is unbelievable. And the amount of respect they have for nurses of all kinds. And then they take the information that Spirit's been offering all these years since I was a child. They take the information and they get it saturates. It saturates into the industry and it gets to people in some way, somehow. And it's been a blessing. It's been a true blessing in my life. It really has. And, you know, when a nurse has gout, it just I just really. Yeah, it affects me. I go, that's terrible because, you know, I mean, think about it. You know, the nurse is working hard, walking around the hospital nonstop, walking around the doctor's office, walking around the clinic. And, you know, I mean, walking miles. Some nurses walk miles during the day if they had a pedometer on them and walking around a hospital all day long. You wouldn't believe how many miles, how many steps they've taken and what it equates to. It's unbelievable. And so if you got gout, the nurses gout, it's heartbreaking because I mean, really, I mean, because that's kind of some of the foundations to the betterment of the planet is that selflessness that nurses go into where, hey, they want to help people. And then here they go. They got the worst case of gout and they're walking around limping all day and they're on painkillers and in medications. It's heartbreaking. So, yeah. So but anybody with gout, it's no fun. And wherever you work, you know, I remember years and years ago getting some clients and they'd be like, well, I work a factory job. I stand up on cement all day. I have gout. My feet are killing me. I don't want to lose my job. I don't want to go on disability. I got a family to feed. And I've seen it all with gout. And it's no fun. It's no fun. It really isn't. So let's talk about the cause. Where does it stem from? Where does it come from? Gout comes from the liver. When you think gout, think liver. Gout? Liver. You know, that's not gout uric acid. Not gout kidneys. Nope. Gout liver. Gout lymphatic system. Sure, definitely. But gout liver. And that's what you got to think. It's a liver that's tired. That's toxic. That's stagnant. That's sluggish. It's not performing. It's not cleaning. It's not filtering. It's overburdened. It's stressed out. It's too hot. Too toxic. I think I might have said that already. And that's what happens with gout. That's the foundation. That's like the basis of it. That's the spot. It's the liver. So when you think about gout, you got to say, "Well, what can I do about it? It's liver. What do I need to do for the liver? I got to do something for the liver." Diet is actually one of the most important things. Important things for gout is diet. Because what diet does is bring back the liver. Eases off the liver, helps the liver. In turn, this helps the kidneys. It helps the kidneys too. It's a big deal. But it's not the kidney, it's the liver. It's the liver. It's not the kidneys, it's the liver. But the liver helps the kidney. If you don't work on the liver, then you don't help. The kidneys, the kidneys, the kidneys. Then you don't help the lymphatic system. Then you don't help. So those crystals don't build up. Those uric crystals. Uric acid crystals that build up. They find their way. They find their way. They're in the bloodstream, floating around in the bloodstream. They're floating around, floating around, floating around. They're not leaving the body, not detoxing. Liver's too toxic. Can't do its job. The blood leaves the liver dirty. The blood does, the liver does everything in its power to try to make sure that when blood leaves the liver, it leaves as clean as possible. Clean, clean, clean. But when, man, when that liver doesn't get what it's needed, you got a diet long term that's too high in protein. Whoa! Shocker! You got your seat belts on? You got your seat belts on? Because gout is a protein disease. It's a protein disease. Wait a minute, I said gout was a liver. Yeah! It's a liver that can't handle protein anymore. And it can't handle high fat anymore. That's a liver, can't handle protein, and can't handle high fat anymore. Gets overburdened. Of course, there's a lot of other toxins, a lot of other problems. Liver can, you know, medications, all kinds of things can overburden the liver. The liver doesn't work good. Liver puts a lot of stress on the bloodstream, filling up with toxins. The kidneys have a hard time filtering out all those toxins. The kidneys get overburdened too. They just, there's too many toxins to over, to clean. And then you got the lymphatic system so overfilled, hyperfilled with toxins and poisons because the liver can't do its job. And then it gets to the extremities. When these poisons get to the extremities, they settle in low circulation areas. Low circulation spots. Low circulation places fingers, joints in the hands, joints in the knuckles. These are low circulation places of origin. Feet, toes, low circulation places of origin. Where the venesus draw isn't that great for a lot of people with gout, meaning your veins, is just not pulling up that blood like they need to pull up the liver. The liver is releasing less oxygenated blood into your bloodstream. The liver is releasing poisons when it doesn't want to release poisons. Trust me, your liver wants to save your life. Your liver wants, your liver kills itself to take care of us. Take care of you. Take care of me. I'm going to have another sip of celery juice. Hang in there. Make sure I swallow before flapping my lips here, talking. So here's the deal. We got to be mindful about this. It's really a protein disease. Way too much protein. Because the liver has a problem. The liver can't handle protein anymore. Can't handle protein to the extent it handles it. It's supposed to handle it or tries to handle it. It can't handle the protein and the high fat. But aren't we supposed to only a society that's high protein, high protein, high protein. Everything's protein. The higher the protein, the better. Hey, that's all great. Terrible for a gout person. Terrible for somebody with gout. Horrendously awful. Give them gout forever. Make their gout even worse. Make them go on more medications. And that's the problem with trends. Oh, back to what I said. Why do you think I did the opening statement? Because trends aren't always accurate. They're not. The highest protein diet is not your friend. It's your enemy. I'm not saying you got to quit protein altogether, animal protein. I'm not saying that you got to, you know, that if you're somebody that's eating a healthy animal protein diet where you're, you know, you're, you're eating a little bit animal protein, but you're getting enough fruits and vegetables and everything. And you don't have to stop. I'm not against animal protein. I'm not against anything. The Spirit taught me and told me never have a belief system. If you have a belief system, you're going to cheat somebody out of healing. You're going to cheat somebody out of healing. Someone's going to get, you're going to get wrapped up in some, in some belief system that's going to just put you in a box. And that's the only people you're going to help is a small group of people. I can't get saturated in that. So if you want to have some animal protein, fine. You got gout, I'm going to take you off the animal protein. Sorry. 100% plant-based. You don't have gout. Things seem to be going good. You want a little animal protein? I'll support it. I'll shout it on the top of a rooftop. Okay. You want to stay 100% plant-based? I support it 100%. You want to stay, you want to be vegetarian? Fine. I support it. If you eat eggs, I'm not going to support it if you got crying fatigue, because that means the Epstein bar is going to eat the eggs or if you got Hashimoto's or something. But here's the deal. What I'm trying to say is you got to be careful you don't fall into a belief system out there that it's all about protein because your blood said so from some belief system or someone told you this is the best way to go and it just seemed to be, you know, hey, look, this seems to be the right belief system. If you got gout, the animal protein has to go 100%, 100% or I'm cheating you. I'm cheating you. I'm ripping you off of an opportunity of getting health. You know how the greatest, greatest blessing I've been able to give people with gout suffering for decades. Okay. The greatest blessing is you go 100% plant based and you'll get rid of your gout. You'll get rid of your gout. That's going to be like a miracle. And I've had some people say, well, you know what? No, no, I do some things for my gout and it helps. I do some cranberry juice, which is actually helpful. I do some cherry juice, which is actually helpful for gout, but I still have some animal protein. My gout comes and goes, but the cherry juice helps and the cranberry juice. People get rid of the animal protein and watch your gout go. Not come, not come, go, not come and go, go. Watch it go. I can't give a protein because all the different, you know, all the science and research about how we need a protein and all the books on cooking up protein and all the information out there, all that gets thrown out the window. Instantly canceled out when you got gout. Instantly canceled out when you got other diseases too. And it's the same thing though. You want to be plant-based. So you're 100% vegan, but you want to eat lots of bread and bread's all you eat. I have to throw that out too if you got something, if you got some kind of illness, not gout, but say you got something else. I would be like, okay, wait a minute here. You're plant-based. That's great, but you got to throw out all that bread. All that bread's got to go away. All that wheat, all that wheat gluten's got to go away. You got to get rid of all that wheat gluten, but wait a minute, I'm plant-based. I'm not eating animal proteins or anything. No, you still got to get rid of all that wheat for what you got cooking. I pick on all the different belief systems wherever I have to, but with gout, you got to be animal protein free. You got to be plant-based if you want to get rid of it all together. Look, if you can't move to that degree, if you feel like you're not going to be able to survive, you got to have still chicken or something, whatever, let's just minimize it. Let's minimize it as much as possible. Let's get as many fresh fruits and vegetables in as possible, but wait a minute, fruit, fruit, fruit, fruit's scary. You had a one practitioner, you see one book, it's going to be like, no fruit, no fruit, no fruit with this. Fruit's the greatest weapon, the greatest weapon against disease of any kind, illness of any kind, liver illness, liver illness, fruit. Wild blueberries bring back a bad liver. They bring back a bad liver. They stop liver disease. They bring back the liver. That's just wild blueberries. So what about other things? Other fruits, absolutely. They help the liver. They recover the liver. It's not just vegetables recover the liver. Actually fruits really recover the liver because the liver needs glucose from the fruits, fructose for glucose from the fruits. I know some people are just like, oh no, wait a minute, I'm allergic to fructose. You may not be allergic to fructose, meaning natural sugar in a piece of fruit when you eat an apple. You may not be allergic to what's in a blueberry. But a lot of people, they don't know what's triggering off their problems. They have no idea. They go to a practitioner. Practitioner says you got intolerance, got an intolerance to fruit. But practitioners don't realize what's happening is the fruit is trying to get rid of poison, is trying to actually get rid of a virus, trying to kill off bacteria, trying to kill strep off in the gut. And so you might not feel the best after you eat a piece of fruit, but you eat an egg and you feel fine. Meanwhile, egg is feeding everything. It's feeding every single bug in you. Dairy products are feeding every single bug in you. But when the case with gout is you eat the animal protein and the liver is like, oh my god, just stop already. You just didn't get the warning. You didn't get the warning. Your hands are swollen. Your feet are swollen. You're in severe pain. You didn't get the warning yet. You can't put the animal protein in the body with gout. So you have to go with leafy greens. You have to go with lots of lettuces, lettuces, tomatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes. Yeah, even some tomatoes. Well, today you'll hear from somebody, well, tomatoes hurt my gout. No, ketchup may hurt your gout on a hot dog. Tomato sauce on a pizza filled with sugar and preservatives on some crappy pizza in some crappy pizza place. And that'll hurt your gout because it'll be combined with cheese. That'll hurt your gout. Probably a bunch of other things, different ways you can have tomato. Tomato sauce. Tomato sauce cooked down with a bunch of bad oil in it and grease. You know, yeah. I mean, it's probably not good. Chicken parmesan. It's not the tomato sauce that's involved with chicken parmesan or veal parmesan. It's the cheese and sauce combination. Yeah, that's going to hurt your gout. Then with the veal and then with the chicken, yeah. Can't do that with gout. I mean, I sound like I'm anti-animal protein today, but that's not it. If you got gout and you want to get better, you got to minimize it or get rid of it. Get rid of it altogether or minimize it. You can do it, but you don't want to do a ton of beans. You don't want to say, "Okay, well, what do I do now? Do I do a whole bunch of beans?" No, not with gout because beans, that's a lot of protein. Beans are so high in protein. So high in protein. You don't want to do a ton of nuts either. Okay. Say you're a vegan. Say you're plant-based. You got gout. You got to get off the nuts. Too many nuts. Got to give the liver a break. Too many nuts. You got to get off the beans. Can't be doing beans every day. You got to give the beans a break. Once in a while have them, but you can't have them every single day. Too much protein. Now, the animal protein is much worse, much harsher when it comes to gout. Way much harsher. Breastfed beef, way harsher when it comes to gout. Chicken way harsher. Turkey way harsher. Whatever. You know, all of it way harsher when it comes down to gout. Fish isn't as harsh when it comes down to gout. It's not as harsh. Not so bad. You could probably get away with some salmon, some halibut, some haddock. The liver will probably, you know, because they'll be lower fat. Believe it or not, they'll be lower fat, a different kind of fat. Fish fat's a different kind of fat. You got to have a different viscosity. And then, you know, the protein is also not as burdensome on the liver. So you could probably get away, maybe switch to some fish. If you want to get easier gout and just do, you know, as much plant-based as possible than do a little fish. But you got to be careful of the protein. And if you're a plant-based person, plant-based dude or whatever, you got to be cautious. If you got gout, you got to be cautious. You're not overdoing the beans, you're not overdoing the nuts and seeds. Where it's just so much nuts and seeds. Tons and tons of fat. Lots of nuts and seeds. That's really hard on the liver if there's a gout. Because there's a liver problem going on. And it's not about diet in the end at that point. The liver problem could be right from when you were a child. It could be literally the heavy metals getting into the liver. Just right at the beginning. Right at the beginning. Right at the beginning. Inherit it. You can inherit heavy metals. Talk to the heavy metals. DDT in the liver. There's so much DDT in people's livers no one even knows. Science and research, they want to go there. Because if they go there, then they got to go back to the DDT thing and then the DDT thing's a dangerous place to go in because the DDT thing, there's a lot of money behind it originally. There's some angry, angry people behind it. So just science and research stays away from that. Remember? Back to that beginning of why I say that there's agendas with everything. There's agendas with everything in medicine. So no one's going to really do a study to see how much DDT is in somebody's liver causing gout. How many toxic heavy metals go back and causing gout. How many pesticides and herbicides, cousins of DDT, are just stuck in the liver going back generations inherited. How many viruses in the herpetic family got all the yepstein bars, you got all the cytomegaloviruses, the HHV6s, HHV7s, HHV9s, HHV10s, 11s, 12s, all undiscovered varieties of these viruses, 20, 30, 40 varieties of each one going all the way back. We don't, that meaning that are inside people's livers, they don't want to go there. No one cares about chronic illness. Nothing in the industries except for the doctors and practitioners, they care. But they're helpless. They can't get the funding they need. They can't get the backing they need. And that's the sad part. So when it comes down to gout, you know, yeah, it's not really diet in the end but we have to use diet to win. We have to use diet to win. We do, we do. Can't eat hot dogs and hamburgers. You got gout. I believe me, I know a lot of people with the swelling in their feet, swelling in their hands, total inflammation because uric acid, it's not even just uric acid. Research and science says uric acid. It is uric acid partly. But it's not totally. It's a whole bunch of other poisons too that go to those areas that don't have circulation where the extremities are, the feet and the hands. And weird places too, elbows, you name it. And yeah, and that low circulation point, all those poisons settle. It's not just uric acid. It's a whole multitude of toxins and poisons. It's solvents. It's oxidation drainage from metals. It's pesticides, herbicides. It's stuff falling out of the sky. You name it. It's there. It's car chemicals. You hop in a car and someone's got one of those stupid fresheners plugged into the car. I mean that stuff is horrific. They got one of those fresheners plugged in now. Yeah, plugged in. You see commercials. Oh dear Lord. When I see that, I go, "Oh my God, they know not what they do. They know not God. They know not what they do." That's all I can think of when I think about those air fresheners plugged into people's cars and plugged into people's walls in their houses and apartments. Dear Lord, oh my God, spewing out that oil, that concoction that comes from a chemical company that kills the brain, kills the lungs, destroys the liver, destroys the body. Seriously, those things are so evil. I don't even know what to say. Those plugins, they're so evil. There's not, oh my God, dear Lord. And you know, this stuff gets in people. It gets in people. They got the plugins in their apartment. They got gout. They got the feed up on the chair. The plugins are there. I mean they got all kinds of toxins in their body going all the way back. And then you got the hair sprays and the chemical products that are everywhere and carpet cleaning solutions and everything else and all the different chemicals and everybody spraying pesticides all around the yards and inside their houses and all those toxins. Uric acid, yeah, that's part of it. They found uric acid, but they're not looking for anything else. Why should they? This is going to cause trouble in the medical industry. It's going to come because there's so many interest groups and payoffs for chemical companies and solvents and pesticides and mosquito sprays and God knows what that's coming out of the sky and then everything else. There's so much contracts and money and oh my God and trusts built around this stuff that they can only look for certain things and then they have to get a pass on it. So when they discovered the uric acid crystals, they were like, okay, okay, will this pass? First of all, if they discover anything else, they ask their boss, oh look, I found this chemical. The boss would just be like, the private panel would be like, nope, we're not going there. That's going to invade on contractual privacy with chemical companies. We can't go there. What else do you got? Okay, well, we also found in this test that we did on somebody with gout, we found in their extremities, we found this other chemical, the solvent that comes from carpets. No, we can't get in the way of the carpet industry. No, no. What else do you got? Oh, uric acid. We found a buildup of uric acid. Okay, that's the one. It blames it on the person. Perfect. Perfect blames it on the person. It's all uric acid. So gout's just uric acid. Let's bing, the bell rings. Private panel signs it off. That's right. That's right. Seriously. I'm serious about this. That's how it works. Whether anybody likes it or not, that's how it works. I don't care if you like it. I don't care if you don't. It's the truth. It's the truth. It is what it is, but I hope you like it because it's the truth and I want you to know the truth. Come on. Of course. The bottom line is with gout, it's a whole pocket of poisons when somebody has got that whole thing going down on their feet and that gout's happening there. Uric acid is one of the things there, but honestly, and that is true. Uric acid is there, but believe me, believe me, there is more than that there. There is so many toxins, a big pocket of poison, big pocket of poison is actually there and a multitude of poisons. The liver is overburdened and the blood is overburdened and the blood is toxic, but this is okay. This is okay. It's fine. It's fine. It's all right, you guys. It's okay because we could clean it up. It goes right back to the liver, but if we're eating a high protein diet, we're not going to clean it up. We're not going to clean it up. We're not. We're not. Sure, if you get rid of the chocolate cake, things that just aren't good like the lard and the corn syrup and chocolate cakes and the gluten, those things matter. They do because you don't want that compiled with high protein. I mean, there's some people that gout improves a little or even a lot sometimes where, "Okay, wait a minute, I cleaned up my diet. I just have lean animal proteins and vegetables, a few salads, and I got rid of the chocolate cake, the donuts, the fried food. I got rid of all that." Yeah, that was one aspect of it. So you're freeing things up, but if you want it to go away and not come back another day, if you want this thing healed because as you get older, the liver only gets more toxic and problematic, so you might be controlling it by cleaning up your diet a little bit, but you got to go further. You got to go further. You have to take care of the liver and we got to back down the proteins. Doesn't mean starve yourself. Now, when I say back down the proteins, it doesn't mean, "What do you eat now?" That's not it at all. That's not it at all. There's food to eat. There's calories to eat. Take one step at a time. Minimize the protein, animal protein. Go to one serving a day. Go to one serving a day with gout. If you don't have gout and you're happy with your diet and you're implementing all the different things that we talk about on the show and in the books and everything else, fine. Fine. I'm not going after the animal protein world. If you're plant-based and you do tons of nuts and you like nut butters and nut pies and nut everything and you're doing all these trail mixes and it's all about nuts, I'm totally okay with it if you don't have a gout that's killing your foot. If you got a gout killing your foot, let's lower the nuts. Let's get the salads in. Okay, does salad feed you enough calories? You got to put bananas on the salads. You got to put fruit on the salads. Papaya, mango. I love mango on the salads. I love mango. I love a good mango. Mangoes aren't always easy to get a good one. Sometimes you open one and you're like, "Why did I buy this?" It's black inside or it's rotten inside or brown inside or it's burning my tongue. There's some crappy mangoes out there. I get it. But if you can get some good Kent's, maybe some good Kent mangoes and they ripen just right. Those are incredible for salads. Get papaya for your salads. Get banana for your salads. Avocado too. You got avocado you can use too. You don't have to avoid all legumes. You can still have some lentils which are really high in protein but you don't have to have a lot of them. You can still have a little bit of hummus. Just don't eat five tubs of hummus because you're trying to compensate for chicken for lunch and grassed beef for dinner. You do a small tub of hummus for lunch. You do a little avocado. You do a salad. You could do some fruit on your salad. You can do the smoothies. You can do sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes are a godsend for people with gout. If you get off of animal protein with gout or if you're vegan, you get off of nut protein with gout and you do just sweet potatoes. You're eating like winter squash and sweet potatoes. Winter squash, sweet potatoes and salads, some juices. I'm going to talk about juices and stuff like that. You do salads. You do smoothies. You do the wild blueberry smoothies. Melon is amazing for gout. Melon is incredible. It's a blood purifier. It's a liver purifier and it takes a little time. It takes a little time. It doesn't happen in one day. If you've been suffering from gout for 15 years, it's not going to happen in one day, but it's going to happen and we're going to get you there. We're going to get you gout free. Going to get you gout free. What are some of the food options we can do? Let's talk about the curatives. Let's talk about literally the way, the stuff that has the miracles in it too, especially for gout. Celery juice. I talk about celery juice. I got a celery juice right here in my hand. I brought the celery juice. Spirit did. I can't give myself any credit ever. It's spirit. I get it. I get it. I know. I got to always tell myself that. Every time I try to give myself some credit, spirit gives me a good kick in the butt. You know the story in Origins Book One in Medical Medium when I was bragging in the garden and then I got knocked out by the rake. You know the story. If you don't know the story, you got to go to that chapter and read it. Here's the deal. The celery juice is incredible because it's not only good for the kidneys to get the impurities out because the kidneys get overloaded because the liver is overloaded. That's what is the liver. The kidneys get overloaded because the liver. It's not even just that. The celery juice is like a, it's like it resuscitates the liver. It resuscitates it. No joke. It builds up bile strength in the liver. It builds up hydrochloric acid in the liver. Hydrochloric acid and bile strength in the liver. See, hydrochloric acid in the stomach, gastric acid to the stomach, hydrochloric acid. When that's produced in the stomach, it has everything to do with how strong the liver is. Well, that's what the connection is. You build up bile salts in the liver. You strengthen the liver. The hydrochloric acid automatically strengthens. The stomach gets stronger automatically. And so that's a big deal right there, all that on its own. That's from the celery juice. Cucumber juice, incredible for gout. Cucumber. Apples, amazing for gout. I can't say it enough. Apples, apples, apples. I'm not talking about Granny Smith apples. Forget those. If you like them, they're great. You don't really like them that much, you should be eating the Fugees, the Honeycrisp, whatever you can find. The Braeburn, the Gala, whatever apple you like. I know there's only certain apples that they have now. It's not like the old days where there was like every kind of heirloom apple out in the old days. But like wine sap and Gravenstein and it just goes on and on and on. But here's the deal. Here's the deal. Apples, you eat a couple of apples every day. If you juice apples with your celery, that's fine. I'll take it. That's fine. If you juice apples, if you put an apple in a smoothie, I'm fine. Anything apple, applesauce, cooked applesauce is incredible for gout. So if you're somebody that doesn't want to eat anything raw, let's do cooked applesauce. Make your own because a lot of the applesauces have preservatives. And if that's all you got, if that's all you got is some applesauce that has some type of preservative possibly in it, I'll take it. I'll take it. Sold. I'm buying. Okay, I'll take it. So with an apple, with an applesauce, we do the applesauce. It's incredible for the liver right there all on its own. Apples are in the... Well, plus do applesauce. Throw apples in the food processor with a date. That's really incredible for the liver. It's great for gout. It's definitely great for gout. Avocado's okay for gout too. It's good for gout. It's perfectly fine. Have avocado. Avocado and celery sticks. Avocado and apple slices. I know it doesn't sound appetizing. Let's try to do some more appetizing stuff. Potatoes. Potatoes. Steamed potatoes. Baked potatoes. I'll take it. Baked potatoes for gout. But wait a minute. Isn't gout like arthritis? So you can't eat a potato? And what about the people that say, "Well, a potato made my gout worse." That's usually somebody that had something on their potato or they ate their potato with a steak. You can't eat a potato with a steak. You can't eat a potato with an animal protein if they clash. You can't eat a potato with cheese and butter on it. You will aggravate your arthritis because the cheese and butter will aggravate your arthritis. But steamed potatoes plain with a salad. Steamed potatoes plain with brussels sprouts. Steamed potatoes plain with winter squash or asparagus or anything else. Asparagus is really good for the liver. Asparagus is incredible for gout. Asparagus, brussels sprouts, artichokes. All great for gout. All great for the liver. But potatoes are really good too. You could put avocado on a potato. Use avocado as butter on a steamed potato every day. I get it. This isn't easy to do. Nothing's easy to do in foods. You know what's easy to do in foods? Pull up to a fast food restaurant. Go up to the drive-thru and say, "Can I have two burgers, bacon on one of them, a hot dog with cheese and some fries? Can I have some onion rings? Can I have a shake? Can I have a milkshake?" That's easy. That's really easy. Or another easy thing would be just taking a frozen dinner out. Maybe a lasagna or something like that. A frozen dinner out and just putting it in the microwave or in the oven. That's pretty easy too. Or frozen pizza. Or going to a pizza place. Or going to a chain restaurant that sells subways or something like that. Going into a restaurant. Say, "I'll take a meatball wedge or a meatball subway or something like that." Whatever it is. A sub. But those things are easier. It's hard to steam up some potatoes. But we can do it. Steam up some winter squash. We can do it. Just be careful cutting open those winter squash. They're hard as rock. Don't cut your finger off. Be careful. Be very cautious when you're cutting open those things. That's what I tell people when they eat pumpkin and they're cutting open pumpkins. Just be careful. Be careful. So pumpkin is incredible for gout. It's great for the liver. Great for gout. You can make recipes. You can still play with some beans here and there. You can still play with some quinoa. That's not so bad either. Millet. You can play with millet, some quinoa. If you're a breadaholic, have a little bit of a high quality millet bread. Have a high quality quinoa pasta. Well quinoa pasta comes with corn all the time. Have a bean pasta. Have a bean pasta. You don't have to eat a ton of it. You can have it with a salad. You can have it with other steamed vegetables. But make sure you get those miraculous powers of the celery juice, cucumber juice, anything like that. Especially celery juice. For gout it's amazing. Cucumber juice. Apple juice. Get a green juice at a juice bar in a health food store. Even if they put spinach in there. Even if they put beet in there. Beet is not the greatest thing for the liver. It's oversold as the liver cure, the liver tonic, or the liver power food. It's not. Beets aren't. Beets are good for you. Try to get organic beets. Make sure they're not GMO. It's hard these days. You're kind of getting cross pollinated just like corn is. But if you do beets, beet could be okay. Nothing wrong with that. We could do that. Turnips, beet. Turnips are okay. You could do things like that if you want. Kale. Great for gout. Broccoli. Cauliflower. Great for gout. Lettuces are really, really powerful for healing gout. Lettuces. Don't be afraid of lettuces. Vitamin C. Let's do a few supplements. Vitamin C. That's a gout winner. Dear Lord, that's a great one. Vitamin C is amazing. Why is it amazing? Well, it's amazing when it's in food too. When it's in lemon water. Squeeze lemon water in the morning. That's a gout remedy. That alone. Just drinking lemon water every morning. So say you're someone who just doesn't want to touch your diet. Say you know somebody and you know they're cranky. You know they'll never change their diet. You know they'll never touch their diet. They got gout. You want to help them. Get them doing lemon water. Chances are their gout will improve. Because it'll help flush the toxins out and help rejuvenate the liver and help strengthen the liver. Aloe vera water. Take the fresh aloe leaf. Cut it open. Just scoop out the gel inside. Don't use the green part. I have it on my blog. I talk about it all the time. I got it in the books. In the medical medium books. If you don't have the medical medium books, I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. Seriously. I mean, I'm hoping yet. I'm hoping everybody that's listening has the medical medium books. Because if you don't, I don't get it. You know what's funny? Because when I'm sitting there at my desk, I'm locked in my office, and it's like the hot box, and I'm getting just information from Spirit for months and months, and I'm getting it all down to get this book out to you. But yet you don't have it yet. I just shake my head and go, "I don't understand." But in those books, you get the recipes. You got the aloe water. You got it. You got, you know, there's so many different options that do help the liver. It's just they do. Life changing foods. They can even look up gout and life changing foods. And you'll go to some of the foods that are really most helpful. So there's so much we can do. And in the supplement department, a little bit of zinc is really helpful for gout. A little bit of chromium is very helpful for gout. So chromium, some zinc, those two are really helpful for gout. A little bit of magnesium, definitely. Or a little bit more than a little bit of magnesium. More magnesium, very helpful for gout, magnesium. So that's one right there that's helpful. A vitamin B complex, I would probably be careful. When you're dealing with gout, a whole B complex or a multivitamin, I don't like for gout. But I like things like a little bit of barley grass juice powder, either the Vemurgy barley grass juice powder is good for gout. I like that one. But you want to be careful with the multivitamins and the B complexes. It's so intense on the liver when someone's liver is that burdened. You have to understand, you can go to a doctor and a practitioner. You can get some medical testing and they can look. And they don't know the gouts, the liver being a problem. And that's okay because they're not taught to look there. Here's the thing. It's hard for doctors to diagnose a hepatitis. It's hard. Unless you just blatantly turn yellow and you're sick as a goat and you got a raging fever. And you're completely yellow. Yellow eyes, yellow mouth, yellow skin. The doctor's going to be like, "Oh my God, that's hepatic. We got hepatitis." Whatever. We don't know which one yet, but we got hepatitis. But hepatitis, when it's really obscure, really low grade, people with liver problems have these low grade hepatitises so low where they're just getting a little bit of scar tissue in there. They're getting red blood cell problems inside the liver. It's very hard still to detect the liver enzymes aren't really elevating. Or they elevate, then they go down, they elevate and go down. That alone is hard for any physician to figure out or understand. But with gout, it's really a mystery as far as the liver goes. Because they just don't have the tests. They don't have the way to weigh and measure how the liver works, how it's detoxing, how it's not detoxing. It's very difficult. And so that's why it's hard when someone has gout. It's just hard. It's hard. And in general. And I understand. There's a lot of places we're not there yet. But as I was saying before, we can get the diet better. As far as supplements, you don't have to do a ton of supplements to fix gout. I like red clover. So I like red clover tea for gout because it's a blood filter. It's a great blood filter. It's a good liver filter, blood filter. That's a good one. I like sprouts for gout. Any kind of sprouts, including bean sprouts, believe it or not. Bean sprouts. Yes. You know, lentil sprouts. Any kind of sprout. Red clover sprout. Fenugreek sprout. Broccoli sprout. Kale sprout. Microgreens. All of that. Pea shoots. Amazing for gout. Very important. I must have said gout a thousand times in this show. But it's that important for it. Sprouts. Really, really important. So consider that. Think about that. Okay. So say you can't do too much and you don't know what to do for foods. Bring some sprouts in every day. Have a salad. One salad a day. Bring sprouts in every day. And then try to minimize your animal proteins into fish, if you're okay with fish. If you're someone that's okay with some fish. And you'll see things improve. Get a little celery juice in there and voila, things will improve. If you want gout to go away and never come back another day, you might want to go plant-based for a certain amount of time in your life. Go vegan for a certain amount of time in your life. Get the liver cleaned up. Get those poisons out that we talked about earlier. And then we get in a better place. I like vitamin C because it rejuvenates the liver. It gently detoxifies the liver. It helps to detoxify in general. But if you do too much vitamin C with gout, it also kind of gets difficult too. So just do a little bit. You know, that's what I mean. You don't want to be heavy on the supplements with gout in general. Like too many supplements while you're dealing with something like gout. Because your body can't flush out poison well. So the more supplements you use, if they're too intense and it's piles of supplements, and you detox and the liver detoxes too fast, it doesn't have a place to go. And you might think your gout's getting worse when you're just detoxing and the amount of poison doesn't have a lot of place to go. It's about diet. I would work with the diet first to get the liver better functional, to get the kidneys flowing better and getting them detoxing better. So you can then get relief and then bring in supplements down the road. Work with a practitioner, a good natural practitioner and say, "What can I do for my gout?" I mean, there's some geniuses out there. There are amazing geniuses out there. Some naturopaths, some chiropractors, some holistic doctors, some good homeopaths, some great MDs, some good functional medicine doctors, some incredible nurses. You know, I mean, there's some great people out there. Find somebody you like, somebody you love. Find somebody that you feel good with and don't lose them. Don't lose them. Take one day at a time and you work on healing and you work on getting better. You take with any information you can take here, any information you can take here and you move forward with. You move forward with it all. And so that's my recommendations for everything about how it works with gout. Now be positive. Don't feel like your liver let you down because it didn't. It didn't. Your liver is still good. It's just having some downtime. The liver has this ability to rejuvenate, regenerate and come back stronger than it ever has before in history, in its own history, in your body's history. Never doubt the power of your liver and what it can do. And it can. I've seen gout go away in hundreds and hundreds of people over the years and never come back. And it can do the same for you. And your liver can heal and your kidneys can clean up and everything could get in a better place. 100%. Okay. And knowing the cause is how you win the battle. And the cause of the problem, the true cause, and then knowing how to work with it, heal it and fix it. And in the end, you heal. Spirit taught me that at the beginning. Spirit said, "You have to know what causes it. That's half the battle and you got to know what to do for it. That's the other half of the battle. And then you win. You win." I hope you got good armor on from this show. Thank you for being here. Phew. Sorry about the long monologues. All I know is I love you dearly. And hey, I got the gift so I could just give you this information. So this gift is for you. I love you. Take care. Bless your heart. Bye now. now.
