1:31 we end up eating a lot of things that
1:35 get in front of us and we can't help it

1:59 lot of different things we indulge in

2:01 more so than usual and then we say you

2:05 i'm just gonna come january 1st i'm just

2:13 doing a whole bunch of different stuff

3:57 cookies and when they get to you
3:59 what happens right so you know the
4:01 bottom line is
4:02 so what can you do for yourself like

4:06 can you do that can really help you
4:09 help protect you move the needle help
4:12 move you forward while you're going
4:14 through this kind of thing in the
4:16 holidays so that's what we're talking
4:17 about that's why i'm here i'm excited

5:01 with the lemon water
5:03 first thing in the morning so every day
5:07 okay you're eating things indulging in
5:09 things
5:10 that come your way every single day the
5:13 liver just gets bombarded more and more
5:15 the reason why
5:17 people put on weight unwanted pounds
5:20 during the holiday okay is because their
5:23 liver is maxed out
5:25 and it's being it's being basically
5:28 compounded with lots of fat
5:30 so what happens is if you're eating some
5:31 pizza over here
5:33 even if it seems like a healthier pizza
5:34 or vegan pizza there's all this fat in
5:36 the pizza
5:37 and it's that fat that gets inside the
5:39 liver and
5:40 even if you're eating you know so if
5:42 you're eating other things too if you're
5:43 eating you know a few more eggs somebody
5:45 made you a nice breakfast and it's a
5:47 bunch of eggs scrambled eggs
5:49 maybe you got butter on some toast maybe
5:51 just doing avocado on toast and look
5:53 that's a healthier fat
5:55 but we do a lot of fats and our meals
5:57 consist
5:58 of fat every single day and so our liver
6:01 is already bombarded by all this fat
6:03 and when we eat fats in the morning
6:07 like peanut butter almond butter coconut
6:09 oil
6:10 even i know somebody that eats chicken
6:12 every morning like by like
6:14 mid-morning they're eating chicken or
6:15 bacon in the morning right
6:17 or eggs in the morning or milk cheese
6:19 butter all of that fat
6:22 stops your liver from cleansing so it
6:25 stops your liver from dumping out the
6:27 trash
6:27 it stops your liver from removing the
6:30 toxins and poisons
6:32 that actually keep us down as we get
6:35 older and older and older the unwanted

8:20 for some of us or we're just indulging

8:27 get really sad around the holidays they

8:31 depressed around christmas and around

8:40 more and they're having some bagels and

8:48 then they're having some ice cream
8:49 and that's another thing too is that so
8:52 many people are having ice cream
8:55 even the vegan ice cream is still high
8:57 in fat so
8:58 even the coconut ice cream is still high
9:00 in fat so
9:02 everybody's kind of indulging and some
9:04 people they get sad during the holidays
9:06 some people get depressed so we end up
9:08 eating more so you know what
9:09 there's a way to protect yourself
9:12 while you're going through the holiday
9:15 season and that's the medical meeting

9:54 time to do it if you can so right when

9:57 16 to 32 ounces of lemon water upon
10:00 waking that's the key and it's as simple
10:03 as this you get your water
10:04 you have it in your glass all right
10:06 that's what i have here
10:08 taking the lid off now right all right
10:10 so that's the lemon water there
10:13 and so
10:16 i got a lemon right in front of me there
10:18 we go
10:19 i'm gonna cut that lemon in half
10:24 so that's your lemon there it is so you
10:27 guys got your lemons
10:28 and look if you're somebody and you only
10:30 want to do half a lemon
10:32 and 16 to 32 ounces you can i like doing
10:34 the whole lemon
10:36 i take it with my hand and that's how i
10:38 do it so you you can
10:39 you know do a different way you can do a
10:41 citrus reamer if you want or something
10:43 else in order to do it but i take my
10:45 hand
10:46 and i squeeze it just like this and this
10:48 and i'm making the lemon water right now
10:50 and that's how i do it
10:53 so
10:57 so that's a half a lemon and you can do
11:00 a half a lemon if you want and if
11:02 that's something that you feel like
11:04 doing that's a half that was a really
11:06 juicy juicy juicy
11:07 lemon is what that was it was a very
11:09 juicy one
11:11 so that's that right there because that
11:13 lemon was so
11:14 juicy that works all on its own so
11:16 that's a lemon water right there
11:18 now i like doing the whole lemon no
11:20 matter what
11:21 so i got the other half so and i'm gonna
11:25 squeeze a little bit more
11:28 so
11:31 and there you go so that's the lemon
11:34 water right there
11:36 so let's talk about what it does real
11:38 quick so
11:40 all night long your liver is working
11:42 really hard
11:43 to protect you it's gathering toxins and
11:46 poisons
11:46 and when you hear somebody talk about
11:49 toxins and poisons
11:50 what does that even mean it's like oh
11:53 toxins
11:54 that's all that is you know like what is
11:58 toxins what
11:58 what are you talking about well
12:01 petrochemicals
12:02 plastics pharmaceuticals did you ever
12:04 take a pharmaceutical have you ever
12:06 taken a drug
12:07 have you ever done a recreational drug
12:09 because
12:10 all those toxins and poisons from
12:12 pharmaceuticals
12:13 recreational recreational drugs
12:17 petrochemicals from plastics solvents
12:20 household cleaners fungicides that are
12:23 on new clothes
12:24 scented candles when you're breathing in
12:26 all that scented candle toxin which is
12:29 really one of the worst by the way
12:31 just so you know scented candles is a
12:33 life
12:34 shortener that means if you were
12:36 supposed to live to a hundred
12:38 scented candles throughout your whole
12:39 life will make it so you live to be 90
12:42 and you'll lose 10 years that's what
12:43 scented candle
12:44 candles will do air fresheners are life
12:48 shorteners and so we're breathing in air
12:50 fresheners when we go to do you know
12:52 appointments or you go somewhere or you
12:54 go you know you're in a store
12:56 and you're breathing in air fresheners
12:58 so if you have air fresheners in your
13:00 house pull them out of the walls
13:02 if you have the plug-ins and toss them
13:04 out if you're doing scented candles
13:06 toss them out because chemical scented
13:08 candles
13:09 and air fresheners are quintessentially
13:12 their life shorteners is what they are
13:15 so if someone was supposed to be 80
13:17 and and and we and they die at 80
13:20 okay well they're good we're going to
13:22 lose them
13:23 at 70. we're going to lose them at 72
13:26 we're going to lose them at 68. and
13:30 that's how dangerously toxic air
13:33 fresheners
13:34 and scented candles are so that's just
13:36 one example of how many poisons
13:39 we we we actually
13:43 ingest we actually breathe in we
13:45 actually get in our system
13:46 so when you think about toxins what kind
13:48 of toxins are we talking about
13:50 talking about um uh
13:54 like cleaning supplies we're talking
13:56 about fabric softeners we're talking
13:58 about
13:59 dishwashing detergents we're talking
14:00 about all those different things that we

18:45 to 30 minutes we head into the celery

18:52 so and then we're going to make the
18:53 heavy metal detox smoothie pretty soon

18:59 i'm gonna get some celery sticks
