Heartburn

Symptom
  • Gas bubble: A lot of times heartburn is a gas bubble, not acid. Gas bubbles can cause pain way up in the neck and shoulders.
  • Phrenic nerve sensitivity: Gas bubbles trapped in corners of colon can spark hypersensitive phrenic nerves, causing sharp pain up through chest and neck.
