Muscle cramps
Symptom- High-fat / high-protein diet: A high-fat, high-protein diet interferes with the glucose that nerve cells need critically for rejuvenation. When neurons are starved of glucose, they become more vulnerable to neurotoxin damage, making neurological symptoms including muscle cramps worse.
- Caffeine and adrenaline withdrawal: Caffeine withdrawal is a distinct secondary cause of muscle cramps and spasms. Muscles become reliant on the adrenaline surges that caffeine stimulates. When caffeine is removed, those muscles lose their adrenaline supply and start to spasm — sometimes subtly, sometimes severely — as they adjust to fending for themselves. Deposits of adrenaline and caffeine stored in muscle tissue are released during withdrawal, triggering spastic reactions.
- Toxic heavy metals compounding viral effect: Heavy metals, especially mercury, amplify the neurotoxin effect. Viruses feeding on mercury produce far more aggressive neurotoxins than viruses feeding on other substrates. The combination of heavy metals + viral neurotoxins is the most common scenario producing persistent muscle cramps and spasms.
- Viral neurotoxins (primary cause): If physical injury has not occurred, muscle cramps and spasms are caused by one or more of the over 60 varieties of Epstein-Barr virus, the over 30 varieties of shingles virus, or multiple strains of herpes simplex 1 or herpes simplex 2. These viruses feed on mercury and other toxins, releasing neurotoxins to which the nervous system is highly sensitive. The resulting inflammation of the brain causes electrical misfires: electricity trying to travel across a neurotoxin-saturated neuron ricochets or short-circuits, forcing electrical impulses to take detour paths through other neurons — creating cramps, twitches, and spasms in the muscles and limbs.
- Previous physical injury exploited by viruses: Viruses take advantage of areas where nerves were previously weakened by injury. Even healed injuries can harbor viral activity because the once-weakened nerves remain more susceptible to viral neurotoxins, which concentrate there and perpetuate cramping and spasms in those regions.
