Neuralgia

Symptom
  • Herpetic family viruses: All forms of neuralgia — trigeminal, pudendal, occipital, sciatic — are caused by the herpetic family of viruses: shingles (herpes zoster) in its many varieties and herpes simplex viruses (HSV-1 and HSV-2). The virus does not need to cause a rash to inflame nerve tissue — non-rashing, stealth shingles is the most common cause of neuralgia.
  • Neurotoxins as the mechanism: Herpetic viruses produce neurotoxins as waste when they feed on heavy metals and problematic foods. These neurotoxins cling to nerve tissue and trigger the inflammation and pain of neuralgia. The neurotoxins can move along nerve pathways, which is why neuralgia pain often moves, changes in character, and appears in seemingly unrelated locations over time.
