Sciatic nerve pain
Symptom- Structural vs inflammatory: It takes more than a pinched nerve to have pain. Someone with bulging discs who is not inflamed won't have problems, while someone with bulging discs who has viral inflammation will have significant pain problems.
- Shingles virus: Sciatic nerve pain gets inflamed from shingles virus, whether you have back issues or not
- Transmission methods: Shingles virus can be transmitted through contaminated restaurant utensils (forks hitting gums and tongue) and through relationships where people transfer bugs back and forth.
- Shingles virus: Shingles virus causes sciatic nerve pain through viral inflammation in the lower back. Over 30 varieties of shingles exist, including non-rashing varieties that can inflame the lower back and lumbar nerves.
- Viral inflammation mechanism: When nerve root hairs fray from pinched or damaged nerves, they create a homing signal that attracts shingles virus to the damaged nerve. The virus then causes inflammation in the sciatic nerve, lumbar nerves (L1-L5), and between vertebrae.
