Fluid retention
SymptomFluid retention is caused by the same liver and lymphatic system dysfunction as edema. When the liver becomes stagnant and sluggish, it releases toxins into the lymphatic system. The lymphatic fluid becomes toxic — turning from clear to yellow or pus-like. To protect the body, more fluid is drawn in to dilute the toxins. Heat sensitivity occurs when toxic lymphatic fluid reacts to body heat — toxins expand when core temperature rises. Temporary relief from not eating occurs because it stops burdening the already overburdened liver and lymphatic system.
- Toxic lymphatic fluid: When lymphatic fluid becomes yellow, pus-like, or dirty from toxins and pathogen waste, more fluid accumulates to dilute the toxins
